When available, we get our kashrut certification from local high-standard kashrut authorities. For example, the Johannesburg Beith Din oversees our safaris and tours in Africa, Rav Oppenheimer’s Losher in Argentina, and Community Kashrut in Australia. Whenever possible, or logistically more convenient, we take a registered mashgiach from another recognised Kosher authority with us.

Guaranteed Superior Ingredients and Drinks

Our chefs and certified mashgichim accompany each group and select only the best, freshest and most suitable ingredients based on availability and season. We prepare our gourmet spreads on location and from scratch. A full-time mashgiach supervises the entire process. All meat served is glatt and all baked goods are Pas Yisroel. In most venues, Chalav Yisrael milk is available on request, and regular milk is only used if our kosher certificate permits as per Rav Moshe Feinstein’s zt”l ruling. You will receive choice drinks at all meals, including local quality wines at dinner, as well as delicious snacks and bottled water during excursions.

Some sneak samples of our signature desserts are Chef Fran’s decadent double chocolate mousse, and Chef Allan’s chocolate deep-fired spring roll served in an elegant wine sauce. Lavish buffet breakfasts feature fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals, pastries, eggs, and grilled vegetables. A delectable packed lunch is served on location with certain excursions.

We cater to individualised preferences and dietary requirements. Regardless of the venue and season, our specialized menus are always relevant, fresh, and indulgent. Where necessary, kosher foods are sourced and imported with great care. It may be necessary to modify some of our menus because of restrictions on importation in some countries like India and the Galapagos. However, the variety and quality of the food you’ll be served will not be impacted.
