In 2001, Rav Yoni Isaacson decided to share his passion for travel, wildlife and gourmet cuisine...
...and boy are we glad he did! Armed with nothing more than his extensive knowledge of geography and halacha, a heightened sense of appreciation for fine cuisine and lots of confidence, he started a little business that has grown into one of the most respected luxury kosher travel companies in the world. Since then, we’ve grown to a team of professionals including travel experts, chefs, mashgichim, client managers and more, spread across Israel, South Africa, Kenya and the USA, that have together delivered 1000’s of travelers from everywhere in the world the most amazing experiences while dining on gourmet kosher cuisine, all the way from Africa to Iceland (with a whole lot of crystal blue sea, mountains and waterfalls in between!), and become a leader in the kosher travel industry, across the globe.

GKS was born when Rabbi Yoni Isaacson pioneered the first Gourmet Kosher Africa Safari in 2001. That unforgettable experience soon became highly sought-out by kosher travelers across the globe and it didn’t take long for GKS to became the leading name in luxury kosher eco-tourism. Expanding horizons, GKS took the experience to East Africa, and by 2013 crossed the Atlantic for its first “outside Africa” experience in Argentina. Peru and the Galapagos soon followed, then Australia and New Zealand. Today you are able to join a personally hosted GKS group or private luxury family trip to almost any place on the globe and be assured of discovering incredible destinations, sharing phenomenal experiences and traveling in luxurious style, all while indulging your pallet with gourmet kosher cuisine prepared fresh on-site under the strictest kashrut supervision, and enjoying unique shabbat experiences that you will never forget.
